About Natalie

Natalie Hart is a dedicated businessperson, volunteer and lifelong champion for the diverse people that call Ward 5 home.

Raised in Mississauga before a career in banking and commercial lending took her across Ontario, she worked with entrepreneurs and business owners to grow their operations, create good jobs and build homes for families.

Returning to Mississauga more than a decade ago to be closer to her family, she has taken on a variety of roles focused on community building and bringing people together.

As the general manager of the Malton BIA  since 2019 she has been a champion for our community, working closely with local business, Councillor Carolyn Parrish and all levels of government to promote business and tourism. She is currently leading a $3 million-project to bring a replica Avro Arrow to Malton, highlighting an important part of Canada’s aviation history.

She has been lead organizer for the annual Malton Canada Day celebration and launched an annual celebration of Diwali to highlight our diverse community. And she led a bike shop project that repaired donated bicycles to give to local youth, with bicycles donated for parts used to create public art across the community.

She works with the Punjabi Golfers Association to organize their Annual Charity Tournament, which has raised over $60,000 for the Seva Food Bank and supported several other local charities. And during the COVID pandemic, she helped to organize a highly successful vaccine clinic that allowed thousands that work or live in Malton the opportunity to be vaccinated at alternate community locations.

Natalie believes in hard work, in collaboration, and in our community. And she’s ready to keep working hard to make our community and our city even better.
